01 · Before you travel

Bring your questions into the room.

Request a live video walkthrough before committing to a trip. Ask to follow the route from arrival through the main rooms to the waterfront, with time to pause wherever you want a closer look.

  • Tell Tony how you intend to use the home and which spaces matter most.
  • Include your time zone and two or three preferred appointment windows.
  • Ask for available plans and records; identify what still needs independent verification.
  • Include your buyer representative or advisers in the conversation if you wish.

02 · Make the journey

Give the visit room to breathe.

Confirm viewing availability before booking. Use Norfolk International Airport’s current destinations to begin planning, then confirm dates and connections directly with the airline. Allow time to experience the drive and the surrounding area.

A useful visit separates three conversations: how the residence feels, how the waterfront works, and what ownership requires. Leave time for all three, plus any appointments with your own professionals.

03 · Understand the details

Look closely at what matters to you.

If boating is central to your plans, bring vessel dimensions and ask your marine adviser to assess depth, route, lift suitability and condition. If you will spend time away, explore service arrangements, actual operating records and insurance terms.

Review a current survey, verified floor plans, title, applicable disclosures and inspections with your advisers. Public research helps organize questions; it does not replace current property documentation.

04 · Across borders

A clear starting point for overseas buyers.

Coordinate the purchase with a Virginia real-estate attorney and qualified cross-border tax advisers. Ask about ownership structure, title, applicable eligibility and reporting requirements, financing, funds transfers and estate planning for your circumstances.

Discuss travel entry requirements separately with the appropriate authorities. Ask your settlement professional which closing steps require attendance, verified identification or notarization. Remote arrangements and language support must be confirmed individually.

Prices on this site are in U.S. dollars. Include your country, time zone and preferred language in your first message; keep sensitive financial and identity documents out of the inquiry form.
